"This is Zain Masters' story. Oh my!!"
This is without a doubt the best other-worldly book
that C. J. Barry has written thus far and while I
thoroughly enjoyed her other two 'Un' books, this book
totally captivated me. It seems as if Zain Masters has been running all of
his life. When he crashes while exploring a little known
planet, he and Reene, his computer on board his ship don't
have much time to figure out how to get out of this strange
situation they find themselves in. Zain puts out a distress
code via the World Wide Web. Lacey Garrett decides her life couldn't get any
worse. Not only did her so called boyfriend leave her but
he stole the program application she wrote and most of her
life savings. Then he had the audacity to leave her his
cat, Oliver. She decides to write up New Year's
resolutions when she gets email from Zainman. The email
tells her to look at the stars. She is working on a job so
ignores the email. Then she hears Oliver outside so she goes out to
check on him. Just as she picks him up, something very
strange happens and the next thing she knows she's dreaming
about being on a spaceship with a very hunky man. What
does this mean? She knows there's absolutely no way this is
for real or is it? This is just the beginning of the adventure of a
lifetime for Lacey. Action packed adrenalin rushing
adventure kept me glued to the pages of this book and
through it all Lacey keeps making New Year's resolution
after New Year's resolution. I laughed and I cried which to
me means an excellent read.
