REVIEW

"Savvy characters and technical details in this thrilling suspense."

A Chinese spacecraft is shot out of the sky from space. Then the American space shuttle, Liberty, is blown out of the sky, killing the astronauts.

Nolan Kilkenny's girlfriend, Kelsey Newton, is aboard the International Space Station when a man appears at the window. He's the remarkable lone survivor of the Liberty, and the information he brings with him rocks the crew to their very core.

Back on Earth, Nolan is in a race against time as a rogue company prepares to launch a new killer satellite. Tracking down information on other space disasters in an attempt to piece together a pattern of murder, Nolan flies from the U.S. to London to Russia to Chile on a mission that takes him to the depths of the ocean and into harms way. In the meantime, the space station crew must find a way to become invisible in space as the killer satellite, Zeus-2, aims its laser directly at them.

Grace's book is a thrilling ride filled with suspense, savvy characters and technical details. Great reading!

Summary

In space, a technological nightmare orbits the Earth, stalking its prey. Sheathed in a black multifaceted skin, a secret all but invisible against the darkness of space, the killer satellite hunts with one of the deadliest weapons ever created. It is Zeus -- and like the god of myth it hurls lightning from the heavens. Astronaut Kelsey Newton and her crewmates aboard the International Space Station have just settled in for a six- month mission when they discover the existence of Zeus. Alone and defenseless in orbit, the astronauts report what they know, even at the risk of becoming a target themselves. The job of finding out who placed the weapon in space falls to Kelsey's fiancé, ex-Navy SEAL Nolan Kilkenny. Racing against time, Kilkenny must search through the wreckage of the past and find the key to disarming Zeus if he's going to save the love of his life -- and opposing him is an army of mercenary killers and a megalomaniacal tycoon whose craving for power will plunge the world into chaos.
