"Funny, fast-paced romp."
Bradley Nelson wants to be a country music star. On his way
to Nashville for the music awards, he stops off in Reno to
visit his mother, Harriet, and meets Delphine Armstrong.
Within minutes of meeting her, bullets fly and his mother
runs past him. Bradley grabs Delphine and the three escape.
They start a journey to his mother's ex-IRS boss to return
a mere $3 million to the taxpayers that Harriet managed to
sneak out of her employer's casino because they were
laundering money. The three owners are hot on their trail.
Two of the owners are following orders from a dangerous
drug lord. They aren't the smartest thugs, but they
do manage to almost do their job. Delphine dreams of belonging, and she'd like Harriet to be
her mother-in-law. Delphine's problem is that she dreams so
much, she starts to believe her dreams. Delphine is the
last thing Bradley needs now if he's going to concentrate
on becoming a star, but one look and he can't get enough of
her. Escaping danger, Bradley and Delphine get closer and share
a heated sexual moment hiding in a public place. Bradley
discovers that when he sings to Delphine, the passion
inside him comes out. He also learns not to use people and
to trust in his talent. Delphine learns the truth isn't
really so bad. Delphine saves Bradley, and he gives her
what she's always craved - a family. This is a funny, fast-paced romantic romp.

SummaryHis love life was a nightmare . . .
Country singer Bradley Nelson always had big dreams. He's
sure they're coming true until his debut album tanks, his
record contract is cancelled, and his rock star girlfriend
kicks him off her tour bus in Reno. Single and stranded,
Bradley tracks down his IRS auditor-turned-casino-worker
mom. But while he's looking for a shoulder to cry on, Mom's
got problems of her own, namely a gang of thug casino
owners who are trying to kill her for exposing their
criminal deeds. Suddenly, Bradley and his mom are on the
run—and they've taken a gorilla along for the ride . . .
. . . until he met the woman of his dreams!
Delphine Armstrong's dreams never included wearing a
gorilla suit to work every day, but strange things happen
when you're in Reno. Like the gunshot that whizzes past her
just as she strikes up a conversation with a cute country
singer. Delphine doesn't have time to ask questions—she and
Bradley are too busy running for their lives! But while
dodging bullets and side-stepping crooks, Bradley and
Delphine discover that you can find passion when you least
expect it—and that, sometimes, real life is even better
than you dreamed.
