"Excellent military thriller with lots of tension and romantic intrigue."

Jack thought his Las Vegas marriage to flight surgeon Monica Hyatt might have been a bit hasty, but it wasn't necessarily a mistake. He hasn't seen his new wife for months, but when her sister, Sydney, gets kidnapped and becomes his next US Air Force assignment, Monica shows up on his doorstep asking (no - demanding!) to be part of his surgical team.

Monica thought she could be rational working and living with her "not-quite" husband, especially with her sister at risk. But when her half-sister, Jasmine, mysteriously shows up at their camp with divided loyalties and hidden agendas behind her bitter, twisted smiles, Monica finds she needs Jack's support and clearheaded thinking. As the operation disintegrates and they discover Jasmine's connection to the kidnappers, Monica worries for Sydney and struggles to discover the truth about Jasmine - and she finds a new well of love for the man she married on a whim.

Talk about more bang for your buck! Ms. Mann weaves all three sisters' plot lines together with some interesting sibling tension, plenty of macho aggression between their lovers, just the right amount of action and romantic intrigue and comes up with a winner. An excellent read!

Summary
