"Not your ordinary run of the mill vampire book!"
I have thoroughly enjoyed each and every one of Nina
Bangs' books. They all have that extra little twist to
them that just drags me right in to the point where I have
to keep reading. This book lives up to that reputation as
well. In this story we get to deal with Ganymede and
Sparkle again. Ganymede has given up his twisted evil ways
and Sparkle isn't happy with that and this time she's a
white cat. Oh my the mischief she makes! Blythe 56-2310 has traveled with Ganymede's Cosmic
Time Travel Agency back to 1785 Scotland with her boss,
Textron. She's on a working vacation with Ecstasy,
Incorporated and is trying to get back into their good
graces since she flubbed her last job. There she meets
Darach MacKenzie, a vampire. She decides that it's her
destiny to make Darach happy. So what if he's the most drop-
dead gorgeous man she's every met. The problem is Darach
thinks he is happy. So what's a girl to do? Then some strange things start happening and people
are murdered. Ganymede wants to make sure it's not Darach
doing the murdering. Darach wants to get to the bottom of
the mystery as well but Blythe keeps niggling at him. He's
never felt for anyone like he feels for her and he doesn't
like it one tiny little bit. After all he's a powerful
vampire and she's just a human but she sure packs a
powerful wallop on his whole being! There was nothing about this book I didn't love.
Darach and Blythe made a heck of a couple. Sparkle as a
cat was simply a hoot and Ganymede was hilarious trying so
hard to be good. This was not your ordinary run of the mill
vampire book! I hope Nina Bangs continues to deliver these
fabulous off the wall books she's so noted for because I
just get a thrill from reading them!!
