"Ethereal romance magically woven with humor and adventure."
Daniel Murphy, once a respected astronomy professor,
kidnapped his son, Will, and has been hiding in Button
Creek, Texas, for several years. There isn't another person
in the world he loves more than Will. Under an assumed
name, Daniel owns the local gas station/general store, but
he still harbors a love for the stars, a love he's passed
on to Will. One clear evening, Daniel and Will enjoy watching a shower
of stars pass overhead. The next morning, Daniel meets
Zara, a beautiful new waitress, working at the local diner.
Daniel is wary of strangers, but he and Zara seem to have
an immediate connection. Zara also seems to have many
secrets of her own. Zara's planet has chosen her because of her biological
compatibility with an Earth male - one Robert Lotella, aka
Daniel Murphy. Her mission is to meet this man, interact
with him, become pregnant, then make the rendezvous site at
the appointed time. Her race will soon be a memory if this
drastic measure isn't successful. But nobody on Zara's
planet told her that along with the mating act, one can
also lose one's heart. She soon falls in love with Daniel.
And Zara fills the piece that's been missing from Daniel's
life. But they come from two different worlds. This is an ethereal adventure, fast-paced and magically
woven with humor and tenderness. The story is real with the
stuff dreams are made of. Read this wonderful story and
reach for the stars.
