"Filled with sexual tension and uncertainty, this story is also amusing."
Emily Winters had to work extra hard to become VP of Global
Sales for Wintersoft, even though her father is CEO. Due to
a bad divorce from Wintersoft's golden boy and the fact
that her father wanted a son, Emily is always trying to
prove her worth. Jack Devon, VP of Business Development and Strategy for
Wintersoft, is in a job he loves. Fearing he could lose it
if anyone finds out about his father's gambling problem, he
always keeps his past under very tight wraps. The opportunity to go to Reno to show off their product at
a conference excites Emily and Jack, until her father
informs them they'll be staying at the Tahoe family home.
Being in such close proximity for a week is going to be
impossible, especially when they're so attracted to each
other. As they spend time together, they discover their
deepest, darkest secrets, and an affair begins. When they return home, they resume their old lives. Each
wants to approach the other to declare their love, but they
fear rejection. A week later, at a dinner party, they can't
stay quiet any longer. What a perfect ending to Marrying the Boss's Daughter
series. This story is filled with sexual tension and
uncertainty. The misconception the characters have of each
other is quite amusing.

SummaryEmily Winters wants nothing to do with marriage. After her
failed marriage to Todd Baxter, the wanna-be golden boy at
her father's company, she's through with romance.
Especially to anyone having anything to do with Wintersoft.
Unfortunately, her father has other ideas, and she's been
compelled to find girlfriends (or wives!) for the single
executives at the company, since her father can't seem to
get a clue.
When there's only one bachelor left, Emily figures she's
safe. After all, Jack Devon, who's been named one of Boston
Magazine's 50 Hottest Bachelors, goes for a very different
kind of woman. Until Jack and Emily are sent to Reno on a
business trip, and discover that love is sometimes worth a
gamble....
