"Action, passion and great characters make this a winner."
Aurora (Rory) Jenkins' big mouth cost her her last bank
position, so to help her family, she's come back to
Charlotte, North Carolina, and a small island off the
coast. Preventing developers from ruining the island is
imperative, but she also needs to ensure her family's
fiscal future. Adding Clay McCloud, computer guru and
biker, to the mix looks like a recipe for disaster.
Together they generate more heat than a convection oven,
and it's been too long since Aurora's had a tasty dish like
Clay. In CAROLINA GIRL, Ms. Rice returns us to the McCloud
family. Clay is as hunky as his brothers, and it's enough
to make a woman wish she lived in Charlotte for the view
alone. Action, passion, a thoroughly modern heroine and a
hero who's just a little bit dangerous - the recipe for a
winner. A good read.
