"A great story with many little twists and turns."
Silvie Georgiana has accepted assignments from the Duke of
Yveshire before. She simply gathers the information he
needs and he pays her. This time Silvie is having
difficulty reconciling her actions with the whispers of her
conscience. The duke wants to see Robert Dovenby completely
destroyed. Silvie's been hired into Dove's household disguised as a
young man, but what she discovers is in contrast to the
picture that's been painted. Does Dove really lead a double
life? Is he dangerous and corrupt? She's certain the duke
isn't telling her everything, but with her heart more on
the line every day, Silvie's not sure she wants to know the
truth. An almost poetic writing style puts the cap on a great
story with many little twists and turns. It had a more
developed heroine point of view, but it doesn't detract
from the hero's strong character. A recommended read.
