"A sinfully delicious tale"
Pastry-shop owner Reilly Chudowski finds herself
romantically involved with Ben Kane, the impossibly
handsome owner of LA's most famous restaurant. What starts
out as a simple request for Reilly's incredible desserts
winds up being something way beyond Reilly's control. She
knows who Ben is and who he dates. So do her friends and
they warn her to stay away. But, it's beyond Reilly's
control. She finds herself tumbling in bed with the
handsome restaurateur with no regrets. Ben discovers in Reilly something he's always been looking
for, but can he convince her she's the only one for him?
Because the media is so focused on the two top eateries in
LA, they dig deep until they find out that both Reilly and
Ben were once obese. It doesn't matter to Ben or Reilly what was in their past,
they only want to concentrate on their future. And they do
so in quite an interesting way that you'll discover once
you read this utterly delightful tale of love and
friendship. The heroine doesn't have to be model perfect. She just has
to be beautiful inside and out. In this case, the hero
finds out exactly what he's been missing by escorting all
those beautiful model types to "events of show." Of
course, the heroine doubts herself because many years ago
she was dreadfully overweight. She thinks this will turn
off the hero but considering he also had the same problem... Ben now owns an extremely Hollywood successful restaurant
and Reilly isn't far behind with her delicate confections.
Once the two meet it's an instant attraction. Though
Reilly's friends don't think she should pursue a
relationship with Ben, Reilly goes for it. It takes a lot
of twists and turns before we realize who Ben really loves
and what really is important in this incredible series of
friends loving friends. If you liked Friends the TV show,
you'll love this continuing series. It does end happily
ever after in this episode. Well, I did miss part of the apparent continuing series of
four friends dealing with the real world of the ups and
downs of romance in the real world. Tori Carrington has
started an interesting continuing story of friends who find
love in the most unexpected ways and people to find
interesting in also the most unusual ways. This story is a
racy yet quirky tale of two unexpected people to get
together and fall in love. Tori Carrington proves once
again that it's smart, sassy and sizzling romance that they
share with romance fans everywhere. I had the pleasure of
reading Just Between Us and it was just as dynamic as this
story. This is a line you definitely want to follow.
These four friends always have something going on. Tori Carrington writes love, romance and hot, hot
stories. Carrington said it all, and I agree. "This is
the best of the best."
