"An Unconvential Life takes a twist"
August Heat is the uncoventional story of three married
couples. Marley and Cade, Brock and Sarah, and Sam and
Heather. They freely and willingly share not only a house
but sexual partners as well. This unique arrangement continues until the birth of Cade
and Marley's first child. The arrival of this child makes
each couple yearn for a monogamous relationship and a home
of their own. THere's one flaw with this desire. Neither the men nor
the women are wiling to openly discuss their wants and
needs. It's getting close to Christmas and in this
reviewer's opinion childish games are being played by each
side. AUGUST HEAT did not heat my eys as I read, nor did my
blood begin to boil as it did in other stories in Ellora's
Cave Twelve Days of Christmas series. As I read I felt as
thought I had stepped into the middle of the story about
the August family. This feeling prompted me to go back
and check out other titles by Ms. Leigh. While I didn't
actually read any of these titles, just the names of the
books make me believe that there were books that came
prior to AUGUST HEAT. I strongly feel had I read the
previous books my enjoyment of this one would have been
heightened.

SummaryJoin the August Family for Christmas.
It's been a little more than a year since Cade, Brock and
Sam wrestled their lives back from the woman determined to
destroy them. Join them in this first August family
Christmas celebration, August Heat, and see if their wives
have been naughty or nice, or if the brothers must show
them once again how proper August wives should act.
