"Well worth reading"
DR. ISADORE ROSENFELD'S BREAKTHROUGH HEALTH 2004 is a
tremendous guide book that provides easy to follow insight
on a variety of health topics (apparently 167 areas, but
actually more as the author spins related subject into the
text) Each section is sub-divided into a comment on what
helps, what is new, and the bottom line. This reviewer did not read the entire book as many of the
167 subjects have no interest to me or my family. Instead
I selected specific items of personal concern either
amidst myself, my spouse, son, or parental sibling history
that I also know enough about to be dangerous. The write
ups on high blood pressure, weight loss, high cholesterol,
Alzheimer's, stroke, and heart conditions, etc. were
enlightening and, most important, it is easy to understand
what Dr. Rosenfeld is saying. Some of the information is
surprising like a comparative analysis of two high risk
groups using Dr. Atkins' diet vs. an American heart
Association diet, though the long term effect remains
unknown but the author adds his spin of be smart and use
the best from both or the benefits of almonds. This is a
terrific self help guide that already contains rabbit ears
and situated on the front of my keeper shelf at least
until perhaps Dr. Rosenfeld provides the 2005 update. Harriet Klausner
