REVIEW

"Excellent addition to series about the Sorcerers who are governed by the Three Fates."

This is the latest installment in Ms. Grayson's series of books about the semi-immortal Sorcerers who roam the Earth and are governed by the Fates and the Powers-That-Be. Now powerless and relatively helpless mortal women with many immortal enemies, the Fates strive to regain their office taken away by Zeus.

The Fates were passed to Travers Kineally and his son, Kyle, by Travers' sister at her wedding. He's desperate to get the wacky women off his hands, not being the sort to put up with anything that smacks of magic. He drives them to L.A. and then Las Vegas looking for Zoe Sinclair, who they swear will take them off his hands. Instead, he wants to get his hands on Zoe, as soon as he meets her, which is a very tricky desire for a father to have when his son reads minds. Most especially when Zoe turns out to be a Sorceress and quite a bit older than him.

The Fates want paranormal private investigator Zoe to find them their spinning wheel, stolen by the denizens of Faerie eons ago. Only Zoe's prophecy (all of the Sorcerers have one) is that if she ever enters Faerie she might become lost forever. Add in her attraction to Travers (who, though he doesn't believe in magic at first, is a literal wizard with numbers), his son (who'll someday be a very powerful mage), the Three Fates, not to mention assorted Elves and Las Vegas' native magic-users, and there's one heck of a mess for Zoe to deal with.

An excellent story that's every bit as good as the previous volumes in this engaging series, ABSOLUTELY CAPITAVED is not to be missed. It will definitely go on my keeper shelf.
