Rico Mandretti is the star of a popular Sydney (Australia) cooking show, and a fan of horse racing. Such a fan, in fact, that he's co-owner of a promising young racer, an investment that links him with two other Sydney billionaires and an enticing widow whom Rico just can't seem to get out of his mind. So he devises a plan — and if things go his way, their weekly poker night is going to be Renee Selensky's downfall.

Second in the 'Three Rich Men' series, MISTRESS FOR A MONTH is a spicy romance set in the world of big bucks and horse racing. It is emotionally grabbing, though a bit unorthodox in premise. The hero and heroine begin the story bickering but, naturally, end up together. Ms. Lee's choice to write the story from the hero's point of view was somewhat frustrating and it did slow down the first half of the book, but the second half of the story was fast-moving and growingly intense. A Harlequin Presents book that is enticingly different, MISTRESS FOR A MONTH is a fun read for fans of category romance and its myriad conventions.

Summary
