"Familiar suspense plot gets fresh telling with great characters."
When Robert Gray is murdered outside a club after a night
of looking for a good time, his brother, Matthew, goes in
search of the killer. He's convinced that the woman he saw
with his brother that night is involved, but when he tracks
her down, he finds her twin sister, Mia, instead. Mia is getting over her divorce to a controlling man and
looking forward to the end of the school year. She wants to
get back to her old self instead of the image of what her
husband wanted her to be. Her life is interrupted when she
gets a call from her twin sister, Margot. Mia rushes to the
nearby city where Margot lives, only to find her gone and
an angry man accusing her of murder. As the case becomes more complex, Mia and Matthew have to
deal with not only a killer, but the attraction they feel
for each other. They will have to work through their own
emotional and personal problems before they can learn to
trust again. The plot of this story may sound similar to others, but I
can tell you that Ms. Taylor gives it a fresh telling. This
is a must-read book, and I know you'll fall for the
characters, just as I did.
