"This one has it all - drama, action, suspense, passion (and alligators!)."
As a teenager, Kim Lyons accused a local favorite son of
murder, but no one believed her and she had to leave town.
Now, years later, she's come home to Cypress, Florida, to
claim her inheritance - her grandmother's bar. She's not
welcome in the Everglades and some of the locals make sure
she knows it. Time hasn't healed any of the wounds, and a
dangerous killer still lurks about. But Kim doesn't want to leave, because "hottie" Zell
Macgregor is still in Cypress and better looking than ever.
No one will ever force her to leave again, unless she wants
to go. This story has drama, action, suspense and passion. And
alligators - lots of alligators. Ms. Wainscott's characters
are easy to identify with and the plot is certainly
believable. I liked it - a good read.

SummaryKim was still a teenager when she fled the Florida
Everglades--and most people in her hometown of Cypress were
glad to see her go. For Kim committed the cardinal small-
town sin. She accused a local son of an unspeakable murder--
and no one would ever let her forget it.
A decade later, Kim returns to Cypress to take over her
late grandmother's bar. She hopes enough time has passed
for her to go back to the only place she's ever called
home. But the hatred Kim left behind is still waiting for
her--and now she's in more danger than ever before.
It starts with a few dirty looks from the locals. Then a
pick-up truck tries to run Kim off the road. The signs are
all there. Someone wants Kim gone before more dirty secrets
see the light of day. And if Kim doesn't go easy, a killer
is going to make her wish she's never returned home...
