"Sensual Egyptian setting and wonderful characters!"
Lady Katherine Smithfield, daughter of an English lord and
an Egyptian princess, was betrothed at birth and has
returned with her father to Cairo to marry. She knows
nothing about her groom but his name, Nazim, and she
believes he's just a simple goat herder. However, her
marriage is delayed when she's caught in a greedy plot. To
save her father, she's forced to steal a map to a treasure-
filled tomb from an Egyptian man called Ramses. Nazim Ramses bin Seti Sharif is a dessert warrior of the
Khamsin tribe, a special sect of Bedouin. All his life,
he's been known as Nazim, but tradition dictates that he
take on the name Ramses for his upcoming marriage. As the
Guardian of the Ages, Ramses is sworn to protect the
ancient royal tomb of his ancestor. So, when the
mysteriously veiled, green-eyed maiden he rescues steals
the map with a kiss, he swears to hunt her down and steal
more than a kiss from her. Rife with sensuality and sexual tension, this is a stirring
tale of two seemingly star-crossed lovers torn between duty
and love. Set in the stunning backdrop of the Arabian
desert, Ramses and Katherine touch our hearts as we
discover not only their strengths, but their secret fears
as well. Ms. Vanak breaths new life into the historical
romance genre with her unique voice, sensual Egyptian
setting and well-crafted characters.

SummaryWarrior of the Wind
The map to the treasure-filled tomb that would ransom Lady
Katherine's father was in the possession of a half-
English "Khamsin," a desert warrior renowned for tiger-like
ferocity. Long ago, a tiger had scarred Katherine and
taught her a lesson: Protect yourself from such powerful
creatures, no matter how beautiful. The veil she wore would
not be enough.
Seeker of her heart
Her foe was truly dangerous. His amber eyes were keener
than his sword, his kisses too. They stripped away
Katherine's defenses and made her forget her duties, her
promises, why she'd hidden so much from his view. Then the
warrior took Katherine where she wished to go. In the
depths of his ancestor's tomb he made sweet love to her and
proved she was his... and that very soon he would uncover
everything she tried to hide.
