REVIEW

"In Love with a Vampire"

A thousand years ago Dake of Laedre's wife and daughter were killed. The witch, Jantra, offered him and his ten men life (of a sort) as Pleasure Seekers, or vampires. They accept and have since been combing the cities and countryside for their own pleasure. Death is the usual result and even having sex with a Pleasure Seeker results in death. When he hears the call, he rushes to the countryside to find a nude woman crying over a tombstone. Charron embraces him welcoming death.

Even when she discovers that Dake is a vampire she welcomes him and her own death but after a very hot sexual experience she starts to have second thoughts. They both have the best sex ever and Dake feels confusion about not wanting to kill her. He comes to her in her dreams and has feelings that he cannot understand. They are entranced with each other and the resolution to his humanity is simpler than he realizes.

THE PLEASURE SEEKERS: DAKE is a very short ebook, an original vampire story of lust and love. The sexual encounters between the two protagonists are very steamy as they break the vampire spell and come together in love. Ms Bardsley has written a sexy and intriguing tale.
