"The sequel to THE FALCON AND THE DOVE and oh what a sequel this is!"
This is the sequel to THE FALCON AND THE DOVE that
was released last year and is equally as good as the first
book was. As I have said time and again, I'm highly
intrigued by anything to do with ancient Egypt. This is the story of Jabari's best friend Nazim
Ramses bin Seti Sharif. Nazim is known as The Guardian of
the Ages. He and his ancestors are and have been guardians
of the sheikhs for ages. Nazim takes his position to heart
but now he must take a wife in order to make sure that he
has a son to carry on the sacred position of Guardian of
the Ages. His problem is that his father has made a deal
with an English nobleman for his daughter's hand. Nazim
doesn't want to marry a pale Englishwoman who would only be
a detriment to his tribe and one he knows he could never
love. Then Nazim or Ramses as he comes to be known when
he decides to take a bride meets an intriguing woman with
beautiful emerald eyes. He is amazed at how attracted he is
to her from the very beginning but knows that nothing can
come of it. He cannot believe when the brazen little hussy
steals a map from him. Luckily it is a fake map to one of
their greatest treasures. Ramses travels to this location
and kills the men with the little thief but not before he
is seriously wounded. Katherine doesn't know what to do. Here is the very
man that she's attracted to but she's stolen the map and
now he's injured and she has to take care of him so he
doesn't die. She cannot become too attracted to him
because she's engaged to be married to an Egyptian because
of her father but her father's been taken prisoner and she
must do what she's told so she can save her father. Can she
trust Ramses with the truth? What a comedy of errors Bonnie Vanak put these two
people into. I only had to shake my head at this intriguing
plot and it made me eagerly turn pages in order to find out
how this story would end. Just with these two books, I've
instantly become a diehard fan of Bonnie Vanak and her
books. I am eagerly looking forward to what she will write
next.

SummaryWarrior of the Wind
The map to the treasure-filled tomb that would ransom Lady
Katherine's father was in the possession of a half-
English "Khamsin," a desert warrior renowned for tiger-like
ferocity. Long ago, a tiger had scarred Katherine and
taught her a lesson: Protect yourself from such powerful
creatures, no matter how beautiful. The veil she wore would
not be enough.
Seeker of her heart
Her foe was truly dangerous. His amber eyes were keener
than his sword, his kisses too. They stripped away
Katherine's defenses and made her forget her duties, her
promises, why she'd hidden so much from his view. Then the
warrior took Katherine where she wished to go. In the
depths of his ancestor's tomb he made sweet love to her and
proved she was his... and that very soon he would uncover
everything she tried to hide.
