"A unique look at relationships"
Showtime by Caitlyn Willows is a short story. As a short
story there is not much opportunity for character,
setting, or plot development. Showtime is about 4 married couples who are vacationing
together while attending the wedding of friends. The
women see the time away from the kids as an opportunity to
renew thei sexual sides of their marriages. Them men see
is as a chance for some male bonding while in pursuits of
the activities offered by being in the great outdoors. The show begins when the women decide tos how the men what
they are missing. Naturally the men become voyeurs and
soon find themselves wanting to be a part of the show. Showtime holds true to the e-book form that I've come to
know and enjoy as quickies. Unfortunately for me Showtime
was not as enjoyable as others that I've read. I felt as
though there were too many characters for the short story
format. I prefer fewer characters for a bit more
character development thus allowing me as a reader to
becaome a bit more emotionally involved in their lives. I
will however read another book by this author as the
overall tone of the book was enjoyable.
