"For better or worse?"

Andi and Gray had a one night stand when they were attending a conference with unforeseen complications. Gray a DEA officer was killed when he was while on duty in South America. Repudiated by Gray's mother Andi decides to go it alone.

Gray crosses the parking lot on crutches thinking of the last seven years he'd been imprisoned in South America. Thinking of Andi was all that gave him the will to survive though he wasn't going to try and see her now because he was a wreck of a man! He could barely walk and he only had one eye!

During an afternoon visit with a couple of friends the husband starts talking about a new man they had just hired. Against all odds, it was Gray! She had to go see him; she had to tell him that he had a son! Seven years was a long time! There had been changes. When Gray answered the door they both had a shock. Andi was shocked to see him battle scared and sitting in wheelchair! Gray was surprised to see Andi at all. He didn't expect to be running into her at all! She was nervous but it had to be done! Bluntly she told him flat out that he had a son! It was a lot to absorb!

As the father and son try to build a relationship Andi and Gray find that their feelings for each other are as hot as ever! Will Gray and Andi be able to work past all the emotional baggage that Gray is carrying from his experience? It was good to see someone sticking around when misfortune strikes.

This was a very powerful book, lots of strong emotions running through it. It will take a strong woman to take on a man with as many problems as Gray has! Lucky for Gray Andi is that strong, but will Gray let Andi and their son into his life? He's convinced that he's not the man Andi is expecting and that he can't be a good father for Brett being in a wheelchair. This reviewer really enjoyed the struggle of this pair to try and recapture the past. Can a person ever go back? Get this book and find out!

Summary
