REVIEW

"Another great story in The Galvin Brides series."

Jane Porter does alpha males so very well. They may be very alpha but they endear themselves to their chosen ones so that you know that is the forever kind of love.

This is what happens to Lucio Cruz. He's loved Anabella since she was seventeen years old but after they married, they just grew apart until Ana asked for a divorce. Lucio finally broke down and agreed. Then just before the divorce goes through he gets a call that he's needed desperately. It seems Ana went to China and contracted encephalitis. She was near death when she recovered but with the consequence of losing five years of her life due to amnesia. She keeps asking for Lucio.

Finally her family begs Lucio to come to her so that she can recover her memory. Ana thinks she's eighteen and she's had her and Lucio's baby but that the baby was taken from her and sold. Lucio can't convince her that she miscarried the baby or so they'd been told. What can Lucio do when Ana only knows she loves Lucio and he must help her find their baby -- a son!

Lucio is afraid that Ana will get her memory back and then realize that she doesn't want him in her life anymore. He's already been hurt and doesn't want to be any more hurt than he already has been. Ana gets flashes of memory back but she knows that she loves and has loved Lucio since the first time she ever saw him but can she convince him of that fact?

This book was such an emotional read. I so wanted Lucio and Ana to have their happy ending. I just knew that Jane Porter wouldn't disappoint me in this regard. The surprise twist at the end only added to my enjoyment of this wonderful book.
