"A laugh a minute book!"
Oh my, this was a laugh a minute riot of a book. I
simply loved those Troublemaking ladies! They had their
fingers on the pulse of the whole town of Littlemouth and
were the first to know anything and everything going on. The supposedly reader group was known as The
Reader's Organization United Book-loving Littlemouth
Elites, hence the name TROUBLE. The five women who
comprised the group were all over fifty-five and they made
it their life's goal to make people happy whether they
wanted to be or not. The five ladies, Cait, Debby, Prissy, Irma and
Janice decided that they had to get Debby's son Quin and
Prissy's daughter Stella together. After all they were so
close all those years ago but then Quin left town to find
himself. Now he's back and is somewhat of a celebrity as he
is a reporter for one of the largest weekly news magazines
in the whole country. Stella was content to just stay in
Littlemouth but that didn't mean she ever got over Quin. Quin had missed his hometown but most of all he
missed his best friend, Stella. She was always there for
him and he couldn't believe that the tree house that they
built all those years ago was still there. Now his mother
and the Troublemakers told him about her breaking off her
engagement and not having anyone to take her to their high
school reunion. Quin knew that it was a huge hint but still
did Stella really want to see him? This book was such a joy to read. I found myself
smiling widely if not laughing out loud through the whole
book. Of course I also got my requisite happy ending as
well. I closed this book with a huge happy contented sigh.

SummaryIn the town of Littlemouth, being naughty was never so
much fun.
Trouble was never so delightful!
Five incorrigible women are members of a library reader's
group, The Readers Organization Uniting Book-loving
Littlemouth Elites. Their nickname, TROUBLE, fits them
perfectly.
There's no avoiding TROUBLE. They run every volunteer and
civic organization in town and feel justified in creating
chaos in pursuit of their own amusement.
The ladies now turn their hands to matchmaking. Their
first project is centered on homebody Stella Goody, and
wanderer Quin Gregory, who were best childhood friends.
Now that Quin has returned home after a long absence, can
they rebuild their friendship or will it turn into
something more lasting—and romantic?
With TROUBLE involved, all's fair in love and Littlemouth!
