"Intriguing and romantic."
Beau Julander is raising his two kids, 12-year-old Brianne
and 8-year-old Nicky. His ex-wife's mother had been
watching them until two weeks ago, but he got tired of
facing her daily censure of everything he did. Beau is having a rough day juggling the kids schedules and
then having problems with plane connections. He goes to get
a rental car to drive back to Serenity when he runs into
Molly Sheperd. She's returning for the high school reunion
and homecoming celebration. Since she already has her
rental car, she offers Beau a ride. They catch up on old
times, and Molly remembers why she had such a crush on him. As Beau works to come to grips with his wife leaving him,
his family works to keep him and Molly apart. This story is
intriguing with several mysteries.
