"Satisfying contemporary romance."
Ian Ridley feels like running. He's just married Dr. Sophie
Calvert, the future mother of his baby. After the ceremony,
Sophie overhears Ian tell his friend that backing out of
the marriage was not an option. Sophie explodes and tells
him she's going to get a divorce as soon as possible. Going home to Tennessee, she expects her family to be
disappointed, but they rally around her. She's shocked when
Ian shows up. He's resigned his job and wants them to make
a real marriage. Sophie has seen her own parent's marriage
crumble and doesn't want to raise a child in that kind of
home. Ian's parents were indifferent to him, sending him to
boarding school, and he doesn't want that for his child. This is a good story as Sophie and Ian try to work things
out between themselves, both wanting what's best for their
child.
