"These angels will definitely put you in the holiday spirit."
It's almost Christmas and the Archangel Gabriel is swamped
with prayer requests from those most in need. When Shirley,
Goodness and Mercy, three Prayer Ambassadors, intercept a
prayer meant for Gabriel from Anne Fletcher, they persuade
him to let them help her. Against his better judgment, Gabriel allows the angels a
chance to assist Anne. Her request concerns her son, Roy,
who's become a bitter man since his fiancée, Aimee,
betrayed him with his father. He can't forgive her, or
himself, for causing his parent's divorce. The angels have
their work cut out for them, but their unorthodox methods
have been successful in the past. So, armed with their
unquestionable faith, they set out to create a Christmas
miracle. It's been awhile since Ms. Macomber has penned a story
about Shirley, Goodness and Mercy, and she doesn't
disappoint her readers with this one. If you're looking for
a lighthearted book guaranteed to put you in the holiday
spirit, this is the one to read.
