"Second book in the McKettrick Cowboys trilogy is pure delight."
One ranch - three sons. According to Angus McKettrick, only
one will inherit and on one condition. The first son to
marry and produce a grandchild will inherit the Triple M
Ranch. In HIGH COUNTRY BRIDE, the first in the McKettrick Cowboys
trilogy, we met Rafe, now happily married to Emmaline. But
the race is far from over. Kade and Jeb are not giving up
easily. If a mail-order bride worked for Rafe, why not
Kade. Soon the hotel is overrun with females vying for his
attention, but his eyes seem to be on one feisty nun
calling herself Sister Mandy. There are many things that don't add up. As Kade takes over
as temporary sheriff, his adventure begins. Who ever heard
of a nun who shoots better than Annie Oakley, rides a horse
better than any cowboy and is being followed by a man known
to be an outlaw? This story is a pure delight. Kade is a great hero, who
loves his family desperately and will do anything to keep
them safe. I was completely taken with the antics of Kade
and Mandy. I laughed out loud in some places and had a warm
heart in others. I look forward to Jeb's story. The
McKettrick Cowboys is a great series - not to be missed.

SummaryAll Mandy Sperring has ever wanted was to be a lady and
live in a nice house. Instead she finds herself all alone
in the little town of Indian Rock, disguised as a nun, and
on the run
from the brutal bounty hunter that killed her
stepbrothers.
Kade McKettrick needs a wife. His older brother, Rafe, is
married, but until he has a child, Kade knows that he still
has a
chance to inherit his father's ranch, the Triple M.
Unfortunately; the only woman who really catches his eye is
the pretty
little nun staying in the hotel.
