"The first in the Kiss and Tell mini-series"

This is Book 1 in the Kiss and Tell mini-series and judging by the first book, this is going to be one heck of a series! After reading the first one, I cannot wait for the other books!

This story is about Dr. Layla Hollister. One evening she's waiting for her three best friends at the bar of a trendy restaurant reading a current rag magazine, her secret vice when a dishy guy sits down beside her and starts flirting. Then Layla gets the call on her cell phone that her friends are standing her up due to various other happenings beyond their control. So this means technically she can pick up the dishy guy if she wants to but does she really want a one night stand? Finally she decides that she'll just go home by herself.

The next day when she goes to the Clinic to meet her new boss, Dr. Sam Lovejoy, the plastic surgeon who has seen more breasts in his lifetime that anyone will ever know. Lo and behold it's the guy from the night before. Not only that but he wants to start seeing Layla. Layla for one cannot stand someone who deals in perpetuating the fakeness of Hollywood but to find out he's her new boss is truly devastating to her.

What can Sam do to make Layla change her mind about him? While he has that problem on his mind, he also has the problem of his beloved sister marrying who he believes is the wrong man for her. Can they sort things out to everybody's satisfaction for a happily ever after?

Tori Carrington just keeps writing hotter heroes and sexier heroines! Their stories are to be relished but I simply cannot read them slowly. Still, every one of their books goes straight from my hands to a place of honor on my keeper shelf. I eagerly look forward to Layla's best friend Reilly's story next!
