"Hilarious! Will definitely leave you smiling!"
Jacqueline Diamond's EXCUSE ME? WHOSE BABY? finds
millionaire Jim Bonderoff and graduate student
Alexandra 'Dex' Fenton receiving the shocking news that
they are the birth parents of a baby girl named Ayoka, a
test tube baby. Jim wants to raise Ayoka himself and be a
father but Dex, coming from a family where emotions were
kept in check, feels Ayoka would be better off with an
adoptive family. Thrown into forced contact until the
future of the baby is settled, the unlikely pair create
some sparks and steam that leads to an undeniable
attraction! EXCUSE ME? WHOSE BABY? is a hilarious and yet tender tale
of love between two wonderful characters. Dex and Jim are
memorable in their own way and certainly know how to steam
up a room! The secondary characters were outstanding and
added a lot of humor to the story. Jacqueline Diamond
writes marvelous romantic comedy and I'm looking forward to
reading more of her work in the future. In FOLLOW THAT BABY! we meet schoolteacher Melanie Brooks
and Joe Jantzen, a private detective. Melanie's friend
Paige convinces her to look after Paige's toddler, Duncan.
Paige is convinced her husband, Lou is having another so-
called affair and presumably upset by this. She's also
convinced that someone is hurting Duncan since he seems to
have some unexplained bruises. Melanie feels
Lou's 'affair' is just another groundless flirtation but
the bruises are another matter. Giving in, she agrees to
look after Duncan. Enter Joe Jantzen, hired by a frantic
Lou to find his missing wife and child. What follows is a
late full of laughs as Melanie tries to mislead Joe into
believing Duncan is really a 'Barbara'! Lovable characters, hilarious scenes and an adorable baby
combine to make FOLLOW THAT BABY! a wonderful romance to
curl up with. Ms. Sharpe has penned a story full of
unforgettable moments and a plot that simply delights. Both tales in this Duet, EXCUSE ME? WHOSE BABY? and FOLLOW
THAT BABY! are superb and make for entertaining reading.
Light and humorous, Duet #44 will leave you with a glow in
your heart and definitely smiling!
