Choreographer Meagan Tippan has a problem -- a big problem. A former employee has been stalking her, which she blew off at first. Now the stalker's persistence is scaring her. Her boss insists that the head of company security take action to protect Meagan. Unfortunately for Meagan, this means close contact with the most arousing and irritating man she has ever met.

Former Army Ranger Sam Kellar has been fighting the mutual attraction that simmers between him and Meagan. Still, when he hears about her stalker, all his protective instincts go into overdrive. He knows it's not rational, but he wants -- no, needs -- to be the man to protect her. He opts to kill two birds with one stone and argues for 24-hour protection for Meagan.

Being this close to Sam is the last thing that Meagan wants. Sam is too dominant, too masculine for her peace of mind. She's afraid of committing herself to such a man after seeing her father dominate her mother for years. Will Meagan be able to see the differences between Sam and her father? Or is their affair doomed before it even begins?

Long smoldering passion leaps to instantaneous ignition when Sam and Meagan act on their desires. Be sure to have a glass of ice water handy while reading this novel. The stalker angle isn't fully explored at first, but the momentum definitely picks up near the end. A DANGEROUS ATTRACTION is a fast-paced read, although a little bit predictable. Ms. Jones' debut novel is a good book for a weekend afternoon. I'll be keeping my eyes open for more from this author.

Summary

Danger delivers her to him....... Sam is called in to protect Meagan when an ex-employee begins stalking her. Now, forced into close quarters, their attraction becomes a physical addiction. Together they must face a madman, but for Sam, the biggest battle is the one to win Meagan's heart, not just her body.
