REVIEW

"Fantastic end to this wonderful werewolf trilogy!"

Adam Marshall is the new head ranger at a private refuge in a small town in southern Georgia. Not only is he there to look after the land, but to help solve the murder of the man who preceded him.

What Adam's boss doesn't know is that Adam's crime-solving techniques come from a family heritage. Adam is a werewolf, and it's his sense of smell that helps him track people and solve problems that others can't. Because of his heightened senses, he becomes drugged when he stumbles on a group of people using a fire to burn their dope. From that moment on, he's caught in a game of cat and mouse with a band of witches intent on revenge.

Complicating matters more is Dr. Sara Weston, who comes to the refuge to study the medicinal properties of the plant life. Adam and Sara feel an immediate connection, but first Adam must come to terms with his animal self. At the same time, Sara discovers who her birth parents were and that she's a witch with very special powers. Together, they must deal with their pasts as they face the future and the dark forces that have decided the two are a complication to a hostile takeover.

I loved this story as much as the first two in this werewolf series (KILLING MOON and EDGE OF THE MOON) and am very sad that it's the last of the trilogy. This book is not to be missed. If you haven't read the first two yet, you're really missing a great series.

This is the third book in Rebecca York's Moon trilogy, following Killing Moon.

Working as head ranger at Georgia's Nature's Refuge seems like the perfect job for Adam Marshall--werewolf. When Adam stumbles across a late-night orgy, the participants try to kill him. As he investigates this strange group, he finds they are witches who have returned to Wayland, Georgia, for revenge. Adam and newcomer Sara Weston are the only ones who can defeat the coven--if Sara can master her newly discovered psychic powers.

Summary

A Georgia swamp is the perfect place for forest ranger Adam Marshall to hide his werewolf nature. But when he finds himself irresistibly drawn to biologist Sara Weston, their future is threatened by a coven of witches with a score to settle with the locals.
