"Comical situations and an aray of critters make this a fun read."
Imagine a small town Kansas girl in New York City. That's
Lavendar Hart, otherwise known as Vinnie. She's moved her
young, gifted brother to New York, so he can attend a
private school. Though she's tried several jobs, she hasn't
fit in at any of them. When an ad for a dog sitter appears in the paper, Vinnie
takes the gamble and goes for the interview. Architect
Nicholas Wright has inherited his eccentric aunt's
Doberman, Daffodil, along with the dog's extensive
wardrobe. Not only does he not have time for Daffodil, but
he lives in a penthouse that doesn't allow dogs. He'd never
go against his aunt's wishes, so he hires a sitter to keep
the dog happy and quiet while he tries to change the
building rules. Vinnie doesn't expect Nicholas to be anything less than a
snob, but she's quickly surprised. Nicholas finds Vinnie a
breath of fresh air compared to the women he's associated
with. Her no-nonsense, compassionate approach to everything
breaks through his love-weary heart. Soon, they're engaged
in some juicy physical play. Ms. Kendall heats up the penthouse and fills it with
critters. This story is full of comical situations that
will have you smiling throughout.

SummaryShe's Not in Kansas Anymore
Ordinarily, small-town girl Lavender "Vinnie" Hart would
never have come to New York, but her younger brother, a
boarding school student, needs her support. So she finds a
job as live-in "nanny" for a high maintenance pooch and
moves into the luxurious Manhattan penthouse of architect
Nicholas Wright. In a snap, Vinnie's living the high life,
but there's an unexpected snafu: the difficult dog's
gorgeous owner takes Vinnie's breath away!
Nick's too busy with his hectic, success-obsessed life to
deal with the spoiled haute couture canine he inherited.
Now Vinnie, with her sexy exuberance and charming
unpredictability, is becoming an even bigger distraction!
Nick's all Big City stress and sophistication; she's
genuine, warm-hearted country. A relationship could never
work since they have absolutely nothing in commonor
is a girl like her perfect for someone like him?
