"An Aussie contemporary"
Kate McAuley decided to go to her school reunion in
Kingscote, Australia. She wasn't sure about it since she
didn't want to run into Brody de Bruin. One night, three
years ago, she got very drunk at a friend's wedding and
came on to Brody. Just that night she had found her husband
in bed with another woman and she was feeling very hurt.
Wanting revenge, Kate dressed in her most revealing dress
and went to a friend's wedding. Once there she ran into
Brody and decided to go back to his room with him. She had
had a crush on him since school and had been too shy to
talk to him. But once in his room, she was unable to make
love to him. She told Brody that she was married and
promptly fell asleep on him. The next morning she left
without waking him and hasn't seen or spoken to him since. Brody de Bruin hadn't been able to forget Kate ever since
that night three years ago. Not wanting to mess up her
marriage he stays away. Now he finds out that she's
divorced and going to be at the reunion. He plans to renew
their acquaintance and pick up where they left off. Kate now runs her own Bed and Breakfast on an isolated
spot on Kangaroo Island, Australia. Unknown to her, Brody
has booked her B & B for the next two weeks. Will she
be able to resist her attraction to Brody? Will Brody be
able to win her trust? I really enjoyed this story. Both characters were
intelligent and I enjoyed seeing their relationship
progress. The story takes place in Australia and it was
interesting to read some of the Aussie sayings. The
sexual content in this romance is fairly mild and I don't
think anything in this story would be objectionable to
anyone.

SummaryKate McAuley welcomes any paying guest to her bed-and-
breakfast establishment. Any guest but Brody. Especially
not Brody. She learnt her lesson with him three years ago.
But Kate's flaky friend Lucy has set her up. Brody is back,
and Kate has to learn to trust him and herself.
Especially Not Brody is a laugh-out-loud romantic comedy
for the 21st century, as erotic and funny as it is tender.
