REVIEW

"Smooth & sassy romance!"

Eccentric bookstore owner Scarlett O'Malley of Plentiful, Wyoming, loves solving riddles and mysteries, and the biggest one on her agenda is to find out if her stepfather, Plentiful's Chief of Police, had anything to do with her mother's death. Scarlett's bookstore is the perfect place for her mystery readers group, known as the Sleuths, to meet. Consisting primarily of the town's widows, the group gets together regularly to discuss the latest mystery found either in the pages of a new release or right in their own town. Each meeting is filled with laughter and plenty of gossip, too. So when a hunky stranger comes to Plentiful, it's only natural that the group has "plenty" to talk about. Who is he and why is he here?

Former police officer Logan Wolfe resigned from the force in Las Vegas and set out to find some peace in life. He hopes to find it here in Plentiful. When he walks into Scarlett O'Malley's bookstore, he doesn't realize he's just nixed his plans for peace for forever! He finds himself inexplicably drawn to her, even though his usual preferences where women are concerned run toward the "tall, leggy, showgirl type" and despite the townfolks consistent warnings that Scarlett is a nutcase. Then a woman is discovered lying dead on the floor in the bookstore, and there are questions everywhere.

STUCK ON YOU is the first book I've ever read by gifted romance novelist, Patti Berg, but it won't be my last. Packed to the brim with an outstanding cast that leaves the reader in fits of laughter, this novel is sure to satisfy. Scarlett and Logan are warm, unforgettable characters, and the sexual tension that simmers between them can only be described as steamy. Ms. Berg has done an excellent job of blending all the ingredients necessary for smooth yet sassy and simply fantastic romance!
