"Collection of unique vampire novellas."
This anthology, by four of today's favorite authors,
provides short stories with unique twists on the theme of
vampire lovers. The Yearning by Hannah Howell tells of two families
cursed by a vengeful witch who was scorned by her lover.
Sophie Hay must discover some way to free Alpin MacCordy
from the curse her ancestress put on his family, as well as
on her own family. Bitten by Lynsay Sands tells the story of Keeran,
who's doomed to walk in darkness, and Emily, who shows
Keeran the light once more. Sara Blayne's Stranger in the Night is about the
curse of Devil's Keep. Georgina Thornberry doesn't believe
her ancestral home is possessed by an ancient evil. When
she discovers Julius Lathrop secreted away in her home, she
senses he's somehow tied to the curse and wants more than
anything to debunk the myth. In Kate Huntington's The Awakening, Thalia Layton is
journeying to nurse her ill Aunt Cordelia at Lucerne house
when her coach has an accident. She's rescued by a
mysterious stranger, whom she discovers is her aunt's
lover. Over the centuries, Adrian Lucerne has watched
the women he's loved die while he continues to live. He's
yet to meet the one special woman who will agree to join
him in eternal darkness. Perhaps, Thalia will be the one. If you like love stories with vampire heroes, you'll
certainly enjoy this collection. I did!
