REVIEW

"An entertaining Regency with lots of surprises."

Lucy Contrain has struggled to retain her home after the untimely death of her husband, Stanley. The creditors have been relentless in demanding their money. When Nicholas Ramsey, Viscount Richmond, tells Lucy a bizarre story of a stolen jewel, which he believes Stanley had a part in stealing, Lucy is reluctant to believe him.

However, Lucy desperately needs the reward being offered by the Prince Regent for the return of the jewel. So she joins forces with Lord Richmond, determined to prove her husband's innocence and collect the reward by finding the jewel.

This book is an entertaining Regency with plenty of twists and turns. It will keep you guessing to the very end. I enjoyed it and hope you do, too.

Summary

Lord of mystery...
Nicholas Ramsey, Viscount Richmond, has a well-earned reputation for seduction and scandal. What isn't so widely known is the secret mission entrusted to him by the Prince Regent--to bring to England a legendary ruby known as the "Scarlet Widow," destined to take its place among the crown jewels. But many have killed for the ruby in the past, and when Nicholas's friend is killed and the jewel taken, Nicholas vows to find both the murderer and the ruby in a search that leads him to another widow...

Widow in Scarlet
