"Fun antics, great dialog, beguiling heroine, tormented hero."
Nora, a Highland lass, flees her home to escape an arranged
marriage. In desperation, she enters the isolated lair of a
brooding Scotsman who she prays will escort her to her aunt
in England. Ewan MacAllister lives in self-imposed exile from his
family. Manipulated by an evil woman, Ewan aided her, while
betraying his brother. Ewan's actions caused his beloved
brother to kill himself. Isolation and drink are his
companions, until a vexing chatterbox entices him from his
misery. They travel to Ewan's clan, unaware that they are pawns in
a larger plan. Nora melts Ewan's cold heart, but their
newfound-love must survive the lies and plots of others. A beguiling heroine, Nora's spunk and tenacity enable her
to tame the tormented Ewan. Readers will relish the dialog
and antics in this enjoyable tale.
