REVIEW

"Do you believe in Guardian Angels?"

Sally Ann had loved Rick and had always believed that given time he would have loved her back. But time ran out when she died of complication from the HIV virus. When she arrived at heaven she begged to be Rick's guardian angel. Guarding Rick became her whole life. She would sit by his bedside and just watch him.

Rick is a builder whose latest project is completing a house next to a cemetery. Strange occurrences start happening and workers quit. So his partner hires Alex. Alex is a beautiful woman who knows her way around the construction site. Before long Rick is attracted to Alex. He likes her attitude about life; she doesn't seem to be afraid of anything.

John is a longtime angel whose duty is to watch over Sally and make sure that she doesn't cross the line with Rick. He had once attained the highest level of angelhood, only to lose it by saving a life that was already destined to end. Sally was the chosen one. Some time in the future she would be able to banish evil, if only he can keep her out of trouble long enough.

Sally senses the evil presences coming from the cemetery. They seem to be after Rick. Both John and Sally can see the dark man, but only Sally can see the black hooded figures following him. The two set out to find the answer to how to stop the evil before it destroys everything they stand for.

BETWEEN EARTH AND ETERNITY is a fast-moving story of good and evil. You get two romances, angels, ghosts, laughter, a mystery, and a great group of characters. Even the secondary characters stand out. This is a different look at guardian angels. I hope mine is just like Sally and John. This is a very touching story.

Summary

Sally Ann spent most of her life loving Rick. When she died, she asked and received permission to act as his gardian angel. She soon becomes disappointed when being close to him isn't what she expected it to be. Lonely and disillusioned, she breaks all the angel rules as she tries to protect Rick from malevolent forces. John is sent by the head angel to keep watch over Sally Ann. A race of angels called The Ancients believe she's the chosen one who can defeat the devil's right-hand angel. John's love for Sally Ann keeps getting in the way of his duty. He's afraid The Ancients will ask for more than he can allow. A haunted graveyard, black-hooded demons and an eccentric old lady bring them all together in a house built for Halloween, where a battle for one man's soul could cost John and Sally Ann their own.
