REVIEW

"Passion and Peril in the Pacific!"

Genevieve Terrence had a huge crush on her sexy boss, Nick Brogan. So much so that she's willing to excuse his penchant for periodically taking the office secretaries on so-called business trips to Maui, and later leaving them broken-hearted. And one fine day, Nick makes her the same proposal and Genevieve happily agrees, certain in the knowledge that she'll be the woman to make him realize what true love is. Little does she know what Nick truly wants!

Meanwhile, office nerd, Jackson Farley has long lusted after the luscious Genevieve. Besides being socially inept, he's also certain that the beautiful and sophisticated Genevieve will never even look at him in that way. So, he keeps silent and never lets Genevieve even suspect his true feelings. But when he realizes that Genevieve is about to become the latest victim in Nick's 'love 'em and leave 'em' policy, he inveigles himself into the trip.

And what a trip it proves to be! Halfway over the ocean, they discover Nick's evil plot; only it's too late and soon they find themselves stranded on a tiny, deserted island in the middle of the vast ocean with no hope of help in sight! Well, adversity only brings out the best in these two individuals and each is surprised to find the other revealed in all their true color and glory. Passion soars even as understanding deepens, and soon this lonely little island becomes their private little Eden!

But then, can the serpent be far away?!

Vicki Lewis Thompson has created a fun-filled pacific adventure for the absolute delight of her readers. In a plot strangely reminiscent of one of those old fashioned movies, we get to meet two wonderful protagonists, Genevieve and Jack. They're totally opposite in nature, have very little in common, and yet something shimmers between them. When the veneer of civilization is stripped away, under a blazing hot sun they discover true love, amidst lots and lots of passion and sensuality! With plenty of humor and a hint of 'Robinson Crusoe', Ms. Thompson has charted a sensitive journey of discovery, which is sure to leave the readers clamoring for more. Utterly hot, thrilling and joyous!

Beauty and the Geek!

Summary

For Genevieve Terrence it seemed like a dream come true: a weekend alone on Maui with her sexy boss, Nick Brogan. But little did she know that Nick had dreams of his own -- a nefarious scheme that nearly got her killed on the flight over the Pacific. Lucky for her, brilliant computer programmer Jack Farley was on board and quick-witted enough to crash-land the plane. Now Jack is her sole companion on a remote desert island with nothing but guava trees and sharks for company. Who'd expect the shy genius -- and the least alpha male she knows -- to turn out to be the uninhibited stud of her wildest dreams?

Saving Genevieve's life has made Jack a hero in the eyes of the woman he has secretly lusted after for months. Now they're alone together in a tropical eden where they're free to give in to their every sensual whim. But when some nasty unfinished business puts them at risk again, Gen will learn there's nothing quite as dangerous as a fully aroused ex-nerd who'll move heaven and earth to protect the woman he loves...
