"it doesn't take long for Andrea to realize she is not in Alaska anymore"
The last place Andrea wants to be is in the backwoods of
Alaska with her grandmother. But her sense of family duty
and the guilt of not going to visit sooner have made her
vulerable to her granny's pleading. When Granny calls and
says she's dying and wants to spend her last days with her
only granddaughter, she is on the next airplane. Before she
knows it she is in Alaska and her granny has left on
vacation leaving her to overseeing the house for the summer. As soon as Andrea meets the residents, she knows her granny
has set her up with a little matchmaking. It doesn't matter
how sexy and mouthwatering he is, she is not going to fall
in with her granny's plans. Mathin could smell her as he entered the house. Being a
Haunt, he could tell Andrea was Sylph from her scent. A
Sylph is the one creature on earth that male Haunts can't
resist. They give off a scent that calls all male Haunts
until such time as the sylphs find their true mate. Due to
being hunted by mankind, Haunts (or "Werewolves") have
escaped to an alternative dimension, the Darklands, in
order to avoid extinction. Mathin is instantly attracted to Andrea and quickly decides
to make her his mate. When he finds out that she is ill
and he realizes that others know that Andrea is a sylph and
that her life is now in danger, he kidnaps her and crosses
into the Darklands. The Darklands and the Haunts have great qualities that lend
well to capturing readers' attention. For example, if you
commit adultery you will go mad. So if you mate, you mate
for life. I also love the idea of the male being attracted
by the scent of the women. Autumn Dawn's ability to create
a world of extraordinary people captured me from the very
beginning. TEASING DANGER is the first in this series, but
SOMETHING WILD THIS WAY SOMES can be read on its own. I
can't wait for the next installment. Sensuality: Standard romance sexuality.

SummaryEver fall in love with the wrong man?
With a body to make a young girl sigh and a voice like
black velvet, Mathin is definitely the wrong man. He's not
safe, he's not stable . . . he's not even human.
Andrea doesn't know what she's getting into when she agrees
to visit her granny. Swept away to another world by a man
almost too hot to handle, she can't decide if it's a dream
come true or someone's idea of a sick joke. Romanced by the
light of the triple moons, entranced by Mathin's fiery
kisses, will Andrea give up her home on Earth in exchange
for -- Something wild!
