"A moving and magical romance."
Sometimes through tragedy a person finds his/her destiny,
the meaning of love and the importance of family.
Elementary school teacher Abby Drummond and Dr. Ben
Galloway, a pediatrician society columnists list as one of
Seattle's most eligible bachelors, have been seeing
each other for about 10 months when tragedy strikes. An 8.0
earthquake leaves death and destruction throughout the
city. Abby loses her brother and sister-in-law, leaving
their five young boys in her care. Ben loses his sister,
making him guardian of his two young nieces. Seven children
and two very busy career professionals willing and lovingly
accept the changes their future holds, but not without a
wild roller coaster ride. Moving forward, dealing with the pain and loss and
adjusting to "parenthood" seems easier to handle if they're
a team, so Ben and Abby get married and blend their
families. The Brady Bunch they are not. This delightful story magically weaves a heartfelt tapestry
of love, children and family, including a dog, a cat, two
gerbils and a bird. It also emphasizes the healing power of
love. A moving story you don't want to miss.
