"A wonderful collection of steamy romances!"
THE FLAME by Nina Bangs - Serenity So-Fine, curator for
Galactic Museum of Erotic Arts, travels back in time 695
years to buy Justin Hill's "The Flame." A slight mix-up in-
flight, though, lands her at Justin's door a year before
the erotic statue is created. She has only three days to
inspire Justin's creation. Instead, Justin teaches Serenity
about everything she's denied in her time. I enjoyed this story. Serenity's description of the future
makes me glad I live in the present. THE WEDDING NIGHT by Cheryl Holt - Stephen St. John,
Viscount Banbury, is a rake and likes his life just the way
it is. So he's having difficulty adjusting to the fact that
tonight he has a bride, one he married out of convenience.
Ellen and her family have traveled from America to England
to find a titled gentleman. Setting her sights on Stephen,
her plans are a little different than his. He plans to live
separate lives, she plans to make the marriage real. This is a tender story in the end. I'd have loved to learn
the events leading up to the wedding and get to know her
family. BURN INC. by Kimberly Raye - When Gerry's business partner,
Roxeanne, suddenly marries, Gerry is faced with producing
and providing relationship guidance on their 10th and final
episode of erotic videos. Not having had a relationship in
years, Gerry decides she needs help and places a call to
Dr. Love, a relationship therapist, to seek guidance. Logan
can't believe his brother would marry someone he just met
and seeks to find out what kind of woman Roxeanne is. When
he shows up on the set of Burn Inc., he finds a half-naked
woman. After engaging in the best sex of their lives as
complete strangers, they both acknowledge their trust
issues and eventually work them out together. This story was quite sexy with a bit of humor. I enjoyed it
very much. POSSESSING JULIA by Patricia Ryan - Julia will be getting
married in two weeks. The problem is she's a widow with a
son, but is still a virgin. When Clay Redmond, Julia's
deceased husband's cousin, arrives, an agreement is made
that they'll go away so Clay can teach her the ways of the
marriage bed. Neither one knows the other holds a secret
that will mean so much in the near future - Clay having
always loved Julia, and Julia knowing the name of her son's
true father. This story was emotional and very steamy. I had a hard time
putting it down.
