"The long awaited story of Remy LeDeux!"
Rachel Fortier dumps her fiancé of seven years when she
finds not only did he get a vasectomy but also he's bought
her another piece of exercise equipment. Then she gets a
letter from the grandmother she never knew she had down
near Houma, Louisiana so with the help of her two best
friends she jumps in a candy apple red truck and away she
goes. Remy LeDeux only wants a little more land so he can build a
bigger helicopter pad that will be up to DEA standards but
Gizelle Fortier refuses to sell the land to him. He talks
his brother Luc (THE LOVE POTION) into going with him to
talk sense into her but about that time Rachel pulls up.
Lightening strikes the minute she and Remy get a gander at
each other! Remy even lets her get a good look at his
scarred face but it doesn't affect Rachel adversely in the
least. She thinks it just adds to his beauty. Remy
generally isn't attracted to redheads but he just can't get
Rachel out of his mind. Neither Rachel nor Remy want any kind of relationship but
St. Jude, Tante Lulu and Grandma Gizelle have other ideas.
As much as they try to avoid each other, somehow they just
keep getting thrown together. Both have lots of issues to
settle before they can get serious about anyone and when
they do will they get serious about each other? This is the long awaited sequel to THE LOVE POTION and what
a sequel it is. Remy and Rachel's story is every bit as
good as I knew it would be. I'm crossing my fingers that
there will be many more LeDeux stories in the future. I can
think of several I want to see right now. Once again Sandra
Hill has lived up to and exceeded every one of my
expectations!

SummaryHOT, BOTHERED, AND IN OVER HER HEAD!
Men! After finally dumping her fiancé, whose idea of
romance was making sure she toned her butt and abs,
decorator Rachel Fortier hightails it out of D.C. straight
for Cajun country. But her ex-taxidermist grandma's cabin
on stilts in the Louisiana bayou isn't quite the grand
estate she imagined. Throw in a pet alligator named
Useless, a herd of Southerners born and bred, and Remy
LeDeux, the smoldering-eyed pilot angling for her family's
property, and Rachel's in for a passel of trouble-
especially since their chemistry is hotter than the
Atchafalaya Swamp in July. With his miniskirted great-aunt
itching to marry him off and her rifle-toting grandma ready
to shoot Remy the second he sets foot on her land, the
sexiest bad boy this side of the Mason-Dixon line will need
a special kind of voodoo to win this civil war.
