"Crystal Creek is Back!"
Mel Belyle is the point man for a corporation that is
trying to buy land and turn Crystal Creek, into a very posh
suburbia. He is not well liked by the Concerned Citizens,
a group of landowners who do not want to see change to
their beloved town. Kitt Mitchell, a native daughter to the town of Crystal
Creek (but doesn't broadcast that info) has come home to
get the scoop for the magazine she works for. Her job is
simple or so she thinks, she has to get the notoriously
tight-lipped Mel to reveal why his boss wants the land.
Kitt is determined to get to know all she can about Mel and
this project and will do anything to get that knowledge. Bethany Campbell delivers a tale of love, family,
friendship, and a home away from home. I loved the town of
Crystal Creek and all its inhabitants. I often felt like a
intruder in these townspeople's lives, they were so well-
developed I felt as if I was missing something very
important. Mel and Kitt were perfect for one another; they
had such passion from the first moment that they meant.
Both had secrets that they were holding back but when all
is revealed the reader gets to see another side of both
characters. If you have followed all the books in the
Crystal Creek Series then I highly recommend this one. If
you are like me and this is your first, this one is a great
starting off point.

SummaryMel Belyle has come to town, and no one's happy to see him.
He's the new point man for the corporation that's trying
to buy up land and turn Crystal Creek into suburbia. He's
also public enemy number one, or so the Concerned Citizens
have decided.
Kitt Mitchell, native daughter (but quite happy to forget
about that), is a reporter sent from New York. Her job?
Get the notoriously tight-lipped Mel to talk. And Kitt's
ambitious enough to do whatever she can to make that
happen.
