"Snappy dialoge and intrigue abound"
Air Force co-pilot First Lieutenant Darcy "Wren" Renshaw
became a pilot so that she could prove to her family (and
herself) that she is just as capable as they are at taking
on the enemy and defending her country. Ever since the time
she was kidnapped as a little girl and held hostage, her
family, especially her father the General had been over
protective and interfering. Now, thanks to her father,
instead of flying into action as she longs to do, she has
been assigned to transport marine biologist Max Keagan and
his two dolphins to Guam, which happens to be the scene of
her kidnapping. Once she delivers "the professor" as she
thinks of him to Guam, she plans on confronting her
commander and demanding to be sent on a real mission, or
know the reason why. But then she momentarily forgets all
that when the supposedly geeky professor turns out to be
one of the sexiest hunks she has ever seen! Now here was
someone worth losing her virginity to, and he even met her
criteria, No Military Men! Undercover CIA Agent Max Keagan is on a mission to expose
the traitor responsible for the deaths of his partner, Eva,
and their unborn child three years ago. He can't afford to
be distracted by the unspoken invitation he sees in Darcy's
eyes, no matter how tempting. But when circumstances
prevent Darcy from leaving the island and the two of them
become closer and engage in some Private Maneuvers of their
own, Max realizes Darcy is in danger. Now it becomes a
race against time before history repeats itself and the
traitor once again takes the life of the woman he loves. In PRIVATE MANEUVERS, Catherine Mann entertains her readers
with her trademark snappy dialogue and humor amidst the
serious life and death scenario of the desperate race to
stop a killer from striking again. Darcy and Max both have
to deal with emotional issues brought about by controlling
military fathers. And in Darcy's case she has to come to
terms with the lingering effects of her kidnapping and
mental torture by terrorists. Darcy is an appealing heroine
who hides her vulnerability and uncertainty behind a
bravado of smart comebacks and sunflower seed crunching.
Max is perfect for her, and I enjoyed watching the
relationship blossom. Another must read installment in Ms.
Mann's "Wingman Warriors" series!

Catherine Mann's best-selling Wingmen Warriors series
continues with PRIVATE MANEUVERS. When Air Force
Lieutenant Darcy Renshaw was assigned to fly Max Keagan to
the South Pacific, she didn't know he was more than just a
sexy scientist. He was actually an undercover CIA officer
hunting his ex-partner's - and ex-lover's - killer.
Intense island nights in Guam fostered feelings Max wasn't
ready to revisit, but when the killer kidnapped Darcy, Max
knew what he had to do...
SummaryC-17 copilot Darcy Renshaw wanted a piece of the war-zone
action like the rest of her Air Force family. Instead, she
was stuck hauling a brooding scientist to the calm waters
of Guam. Darcy thought she was being shuffled far away
from the action...until she met Max Keegan and embarked on
the mission of her life.
Undercover CIA officer Max needed a military airlift to a
South Pacific island. He didn't need First Lieutenant
Darcy Renshaw blowing his cover and bringing chaos to his
top secret program. But Darcy and danger seemed destined
to go hand in hand. And while trying to keep Darcy safe,
Max realized he was soon in danger of losing his well-
guarded heart.
