REVIEW

"Elf"

Quist, older brother Mac and Zander were childhood friends. Their lives were pretty normal until one day when Zander was jogging in a park he was attacked by a pack of slavering dogs. Mac had had a premonition and along with Quist went looking for Zander. They found Zander while he was being attacked. During the struggle Zander gets an uncontrollable urge, opened his mouth and a loud long song came out. The dogs turned and started running away. They didn't get far when they exploded.

This is how the story of the three young men begins. After one strange event after another, they learn that they are not human. Monsters unlike any they have seen appear and try to kill them. They find out their blood is different at the hospital after the dog attacks. You must read this wonderful science fiction book. It transports you to a magical mystical realm where anything can happen and does!! Along the way they collect two human friends who decide to come along on their trip of discovery into their past.

Summary

"The only way to take charge of your destiny is to create it." His father's words. Alexander Brody was sure he had everything under control, including his "destiny". Andrew Brody's rather cryptic reference had no real bearing on his future... Until the day hellhounds sprang from nowhere to hunt him down--and creatures the Earth had never seen marked him for death. Zander can no longer ignore his father's warning, any more than he can ignore the traits which distinguish him from other men. Zander is discovering he has a new destiny to face, but first he must determine who - and what - he is.
