REVIEW

"Sweet and a lot of fun!"

Davis Murphy needs a fiance in a hurry. Not a real fiance, just a temporary one to convince his mother he is happy and that she can marry the man she loves and move out of the country with no worries. Librarian Charlie Nelson seems perfect for the job and Davis sets about convincing her to help him. Unfortunately, he didn't plan on falling for her and wanting to make this temporary arrangement a permanent one. Charlie Nelson thinks it is time to let a little excitement into her life. In spite of her better judgement she allows Davis to talk her into going along with his little charade. She likes his mother and wants to see her happy. She knows she has to be on her guard against falling for Davis though, because the one thing in this world he wants to be is a cowboy, and that's the one type of man with whom she has vowed she will never get involved. Ms. Carmichael has written a fun, entertaining book. Her characters are likeable and enjoyable. Her humor is witty and on the subtle side. The book is "sweet" with no sex, so could also be enjoyed by the younger romance reader. I am looking forward to reading more by her!
