"These two stories were so much fun!"

Nancy Warren is one of my favorite authors. Her books are always guaranteed good reads. Her Duets are some of the funniest I've ever read! These stories are a continuation of her Harlequin Temptation HOT OFF THE PRESS, which was Tess and Mike's story.

A Hickey for Harriet tells us the story of Harriet Adelaide MacPherson. Poor Harriet has wanted to be a cheerleader all of her life. She's always been a bit nerdy but athletic. She's now a copy editor for the Pasqualie Standard Newspaper. Her old maid aunts are always trying to fix her up with an undertaker or something. All they want is for her to be happy. Steve Ackerman is the sports editor and when he finds out that Harriet wants to be a cheerleader he tells her that the Bravehearts, a local team, is looking for a new cheerleader. Harriet decides to try out but knows there's no way she could ever be chosen. She also can't understand why Steve is paying attention to her when he's never noticed her before.

A Cradle for Caroline is Caroline and Jonathan Kushner. Carolina found Jon in their bedroom with a half naked employee and walked out on him then and there. So what if they'd been trying for a year to have a baby. It was just too much. Things haven't been the same for them in a while. All Caroline knows is that she misses Jon and she's feeling all out of sorts. All Jon knows is he'd do anything to get Caroline back. Will they ever be able to work things out?

These two stories were such fun to read. Talk about a comedy of errors, both stories were full of this situation! I sped through both stories and eagerly look forward to more of Nancy Warren's fabulous reads!
