"Those handsome cowboys are stealing hearts again."
Duets Cooking Up Trouble/Kiss the Cook
By Molly O'Keefe Molly O'Keefe has acquired a new fan. I laughed so hard it
made me cry. I can't believe I missed her first book. Cooking Up Trouble begins with the middle Cook
brother, Mark. When Hollywood hunk Dirk Mason comes to the
Cook ranch to learn how to be a cowboy, the whole ranch is
being turned upside down just for him. Mark doesn't see
what the big deal is, but he sure doesn't like the fact
that Dirk is cozying up to his best friend Alyssa. Alyssa Halloway figures after 21 years of being friends,
that Mark would eventually get the hint that she loved
him. But, they say love is blind, and boy is Mark. The
green eyed monster, jealousy, grabs ahold of Mark and
shows him exactly what he is missing. Alyssa spending all
of her time with Dirk and Mark wants to put a stop to it. Will Mark open his eyes and his heart before it's too late
with Alyssa? Or has Dirk Mason already swept her off of
her feet. Kiss the Cook brings you Billy's story, the youngest
Cook brother. Billy Cook is the legendary heartbreaker of
Lincoln, Montana. No woman has ever been able to snare
Billy's heart. Swearing that he will never get married
until he is 40, Billy hightails it whenever a woman starts
to try to get those commitment ties strapped on him. Billy
has only loved one woman, Kate Jenkins, but Kate broke his
teenage heart when she left 13 years ago. Kate has returned to Montana, pregnant and alone. All she
wants is for her baby to be born around the love she always
felt at the Morning Glory Ranch. Vowing to make a new life
for her and her new baby, Kate vows that she doesn't need a
man to take care of her. But the sight of Billy Cook, the
man she loved those many years ago, tests her strength. Will Kate's wanderlust soul stay in town for good? Will
Billy be able to believe she's not going to leave and break
his heart a second time? I loved these stories. I am going to have to find Ethan's
story now. I just hope that Molly O'Keefe continues and
lets us know about the Cook brother's sister, Samantha. I
never wanted to put the book down. She is a new author
auto buy for me. She took the love of teenagers and
brought the adults together to make a true-life happy
ending, bumps in the road of life included. Bea Sigman

SummaryCooking Up Trouble by Molly O'Keefe
Mark Cook shouldn't mind that a Hollywood heartthrob is
intruding on his family's ranch to learn how to be a
cowboy. Or that Mr. Moviestar is getting a bit too close to
his best friend, Alyssa Halloway. But, damn it all, he's
jealous to the point of distraction whenever he sees them
together! And to compete with a gorgeous actor for Alyssa's
heart, things are gonna get dirty down on the farm....
Kiss the Cook by Molly O'Keefe
No one has ever been able to hook heartbreaker Billy Cook
like wild Kate Jenkins. Her passionate kisses made him fall
in love thirteen years ago, only for her to turn around and
break his teenage heart by leaving town. In fact, she's the
reason he vowed to be a confirmed bachelor! Now pregnant,
Kate is back in Montana to deliver her baby, claiming her
wanderlust days are over. And Billy can't help wonder if
his vow was a bit too hasty....
