"Delightful addition to the spellbinding series."
Morgan MacKeage, 32 years old (plus about 800 years!), is
very lonely in modern times. When the wizard, Daar, tried
to bring Morgan's brother, Greylen, forward in time, Daar
didn't count on his spell also bringing 10 other men and
their war horses with them. The men, who adapted to modern
time, moved from Scotland to Maine. Sadie Quill is in the woods scouting out walking paths,
taking nature shots, when she spies a man swimming and
sunbathing in the lake. She can't believe her eyes and has
to take a second look when she realizes he's au natural.
She just can't resist taking a photo. Little does she know
that Morgan hears the camera and does not like the invasion
of his privacy. Morgan captures Sadie, and needless to
say, an interesting relationship develops from there. I loved watching Morgan and Sadie tromping through the
woods together, arguing about a wildlife park and falling
in love. And Daar trying to be a matchmaker is funny. This
is the second book of Ms. Chapman's Highlander series, and
it's just as delightful as the first.

SummaryA tempestuous passion begins with a battle of
wills...
When Sadie Quill comes upon an unbelievably gorgeous man
lying naked beside a lake, she can't resist taking his
photo -- and is quickly trapped in a passionate
confrontation with the fierce stranger. Discovering the
identity of this irresistible warrior will complicate
Sadie's search for a legendary gold mine. For he is Morgan
MacKeage, a medieval highlander in modern-day Maine, a man
with the fury of the untamed wilderness pounding in his
veins -- and the power to unlock Sadie's fragile heart.
